Robin Brannigan, M.D.

Robin Brannigan came to the D.C. area from her native St. Croix in the Virgin Islands in 1982. She finished her undergraduate degree from Howard University and went on to medical school at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, Dr. Brannigan became Chief Resident of Psychiatry. She also received the Francis L. Clarke, Jr. Award.

Dr. Brannigan is both a member in good standing with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association. Since leaving Georgetown University School of Medicine’s department of Psychiatry in 1996, and before entering private practice at The Growth and Recovery Center in 2000, Dr. Brannigan held positions at Minirth- Meier New Life Clinics (as the Attending Psychiatrist), Georgetown University Medical Center (as a Clinical Faculty Member), and at The Metropolitan Psychiatric Group’s McLean Family Counseling Center (as Director).

As a versatile and authentic individual, Dr. Brannigan has become well known for her ease with patients as well as her competent psycho pharmacology. She sees individuals with a variety of psychiatric concerns and conditions.
